| CMS PARTICIPATES IN CAMPIONARIA, THE ITALIAN QUALITY EXHIBITION |

| From 22 to 25 November CMS took part in the new Campionaria trade fair. The event was held in the
Rho exhibition district in
Milan and was organised by Symbola, the Foundation for Italian Quality, of which CMS is a member.The CMS stand showcased two compactor machines and a selection of components from important products, underlining the company’s attention to quality.

| On 20 November Massimo Nannini, technical director of the OSL Software Department, took part in an important seminar on industrial automation at the
University of
Rome La Sapienza . The subject of his presentation was information technology used in production control and tracking.

| During a busy November, CO.MA.RI. appeared in a succession of major exhibitions: from 7 to 10 November at Ecomondo in
Rimini , from 22 to 25 November at the Campionaria fair in
Milan and from 27 to 30 November at Pollutech in
Paris .

| CMS PLENARY MEETING ON 31 OCTOBER |
|
|
|
| During the meeting, human resources manager Elena Salda presented the results of the company climate questionnaire, illustrated the company strategies and listed the concrete improvement measures which the management aims to implement. She also distributed the Internal Relations Charter and outlined it in a slideshow presentation, before going on to review the Corporate Training Plan and updated organisation chart.

| INAUGURATION OF THE DAY NURSERY |
|
|
|
| Saturday 8 September saw the inauguration of the company day nursery, which opened its doors on Monday 10 with 35 young guests. The opening ceremony was attended by local dignitaries including the Mayor of Marano sul Panaro and the parish priest, who blessed the structure. The event was also attended by managers, associates, employees and their families. Before cutting the ribbon, Elena Salda gave a speech in which she reiterated the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility to which CMS is committed. She also thanked the mayor for the local council’s cooperation in enabling the project to be completed within such a short space of time.

| A NEW CMS INVESTMENT |
|
|
|
| A new machine, a JOBS LINX 30, is being installed at the CMS 1 plant in Via Di Vittorio. One important capability offered by this new investment is the possibility to machine medium to large scale pieces at high velocity (up to 8 meters in length). CMS thus qualifies as a supplier to hi-tech sectors such as the aviation and space industries.

| PROGRESS REPORT ABOUT THE NEW CMS FACTORY |

| Construction of the new Via Miani plant in Marano sul Panaro is on schedule: machinery and inventory will be transferred after the summer so that production can get underway.
