Focus on “pipes”: cutting, bending and finishing

Partnership with MACO for the setting up of a special area

The specialized area is about 250 square meters and it includes tools for stainless steel pipes machining: technologies for pipes bending or folding of the best producers from Lombardy and Veneto, suitable for thicknesses from 6 to 80 mm, cutting machines, deburring and degreasing tanks.

CMS spa has decided to realize the investment in a specific plant, MACO by Marco and Mauro Grandi in Vignola. What is the reason why for such choice? Just the entrepreneurial know how in processing pipes, the result of an experience that began in 1990, in copper and aluminum bending and welding, as well as the possibility of standardizing those machining to CMS organizational proceedings, processes and procedures. In fact, with Marco Grandi, the relationship is longstanding, since he was one of the three founders of FGR, subsidiary within CMS Group, in 1985.

Respecting the time that Piero Franconi, IT Manager of CMS spa, had announced us in a previous newsletter, the consulting firm with the task of leading the implementation of SAP in the company has been identified: ICM.S, headquartered in Treviso with some offices in Bologna as well, has been chosen for its well-established reputation, grown thanks to a wide range of customers, and for the role it plays among the users in the "SAP world." In the implementation of SAP, CMS will integrate the services offered by its subsidiary OSL , supporting the collection of production data.
