OUR MACHINES
A large array of machinery and wide-ranging skills have enabled us to consolidate our company’s organisation over the years. In our production area of about 6000 square metres, we are able to perform various types of precision machining procedures, from raw material management through to sheet metalworking using laser cutting and bending machines, and manual and robotic welding. We also have specialised turning and milling departments, with CNC machines and machining centres, before completing the production cycle in the finishing area, with a robotic deburring island and special surface treatment tanks, and the quality area, where final inspection and testing take place.

Total quality control
At C.M.S., Quality has always guided every activity. Pieces’ conformity to the engineering drawing specifications is assessed using a large array of measuring equipment. These checks are performed both in-process and on completion, in a special metrology room. With climate controlled in accordance with specific temperature and humidity parameters for the utmost reliability, it contains a full set of measuring instruments, as well as automatically controlled devices for inspecting the finishes and dimensional and geometrical tolerances of pieces up to 3000 x 1500 x 1500 mm.
Management of technical modifications
A major factor in C.M.S.’s value offering is its capability to manage technical modifications requested by Customers. In fact, thanks to our experience and specialist knowledge, and the fact that critical assembly jobs with multi-level bills of materials are part of normal operation for us, we are able to handle very large BoMs with very high numbers of articles.
We always analyse the Customer’s documentation with a fine-tooth comb, and where possible we suggest small improvements and minor finishing touches, providing our input to optimise and perfect the product.
Traceability
Traceability is a crucial factor for industrial concerns, which, especially in the food and pharmaceuticals sectors, must be able to trace their products through every step in the production chain. C.M.S. manages this major aspect right from cutting of the raw material. In fact, product traceability is ensured by the batch number entered in the accompanying documents.

We have a well organised, well equipped production department with an impressive array of machines, which helps us to speed up our response to Customers. Thanks to total control of the production system and excellent synchronisation of timing, our flows of materials and information are particularly fast, enabling a rapid response to Customers’ needs.
