ASSOCIAZIONE PER LA RESPONSABILITÀ SOCIALE D’IMPRESA

C.M.S. is a founding member of the Associazione per la RSI (CSR Association), an active group of companies that disseminate the principles of Corporate and Social Responsibility and Sustainability in the Modena area and beyond. This association comprises around 50 companies, which, directly or through their associates, employ a total of more than 30 thousand workers across Italy.

ATTENDANCE AT CONVENTIONS ON RELEVANT TOPICS

Its attendance at conventions at both the local and the national level demonstrates C.M.S.’s ongoing commitment to the analysis and promotion of topics of social or environmental relevance. As well as providing valuable food for thought, these events provide an important training opportunity, enabling participants to update their knowledge and engage in networking.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FESTIVAL

C.M.S. has played a leading role for years at the Sustainable Development Festival, Italy’s biggest event held to inform and mobilize not just businesses and institutions but also the public and young people on social and environmental responsibility issues. This event, with a strong public impact, is held in Modena, coinciding with the national initiative promoted by ASviS, the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development.

MANIGOLDE

C.M.S. S.p.A. has been delighted to join the “Io merito una seconda chance” (I deserve a second chance) programme founded by the Associazione per la RSI, of which it is a founder member, and Manigolde, a community tailoring and dressmaking project that recycles textile offcuts or pre-owned garments. The Manigolde project has multiple aims, and creates employment opportunities for people in difficulty by offering them fair access to training and work experience. It combines this job creation function with environmental sustainability, setting out to combat waste in the garment industry and promote fair, circular fashion.
